Managed by Yancoal, Premier Coal is the leading coal producer in Western Australia.  Operating an open cut coal mine near Collie in the South West of WA, the operation produces coal for the domestic market with contracts to 2030.  

About the Role

We are seeking full time excavator/shovel operators to join our team om a 4/4 roster (4days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off). Our fleet at Premier Coal comprises of 2 P&H 2800 electric shovels, 5 Liebherr hydraulic excavators (996x2, 9400, 994x2), 1 Komatsu hydraulic excavators (PC2000) and 1 Hitachi hydraulic excavator (EX3600). Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role in a large scale open-cut mining production environment;
• Previous experience operating Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu excavators and/or P&H shovels
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Drive a safety first workplace culture, which promotes a zero-harm work environment
