About the Role 

Caval Ridge Mine are currently recruiting passionate individuals into permanent roles for experienced Production Operators in our Production Coal, Overburden and Services teams. We want to hear from you if you are looking to join our world-class operational teams either now or in the near future. We believe that people are the key to our continued success; having the right people working within our organisation at all levels will allow us to become the safest, most productive mine site we can be and sustain our operations well into the future. 

Roles will be Fly-in-Fly-Out & Drive-In-Drive-Out based at BMA’s Caval Ridge Mine Site, near Moranbah, Central Queensland on a 7/7 Roster.

Roles Include:  

  • Dump Truck Operators (CAT 797 and 793)  
  • Ancillary Operators 
  • Excavator/Shovel Operators  
  • Loader Operators 
  • Dozer Operators (D10/D11)  

About You: 

  • Individuals with experience from industries outside of mining are encouraged to apply (eg. Civil and construction) 
  • Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s licence 
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence 
  • Motivated, enthusiastic individual who shows initiative and can work with minimal supervision  
  • Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
