About the Role

Reporting directly to the Production Superintendent – Processing, the Supervisor's responsibilities include providing direction and technical advice to shift crew personnel in order to achieve established safety, environmental and production goals in the day to day operations.
This role is critical to the operation's success and so provides an excellent opportunity for continuous improvement of yourself, your team and the process.
We are seeking interest from candidates who are interested in joining the BHP team in a permanent position that have limited mining knowledge but strong leadership skills or previous mining experience and interested in taking the next step
About You
- Prior supervisory experience;
- Candidates with previous Mineral Processing Plant experience will be highly regarded, particularly flotation experience.
- You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to implement change, manage and motivate others.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with different levels and departments
- Ability to plan and achieve safety and production targets
- Strong problem solving skills
- Frontline Management, DuPont, Six Sigma or other supervisor development qualifications would be highly regarded
Kambalda Nickel Concentrator
Nickel West Kambalda is located 50 kilometers South of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from Underground contract mines and concentrate purchased from other operations, processing these various sources to produce dried Nickel concentrate to deliver to Kalgoorlie Nickel smelter. The Kambalda Town offers a unique lifestyle with all the modern conveniences – an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre, Junior and Senior schools with supermarket and close proximity to Kalgoorlie regional center shopping and medical facilities
