Location: Prominent Hill, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta) Roster: 8 days on; 6 days off Department: Processing Manager: Superintendent Process Operations  Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

In This Role You Will:

• Manage and lead a team to ensure safe, effective, and efficient running of the operation with minimal disruption to plant operations.
• Manage the tailings dam operations.
• Ensure continuous and effective management of the supply of water to the operations from the reverse osmosis plant, and ongoing operation of the wastewater treatment plant.
• Take preventative action and communicating incident learnings.
• Walk daily through the workplace to actively demonstrate commitment to safe behaviours.
• Ensure all team members have adequate skills, experience, and competencies for the task at hand.
• Hold people to account in a consistent fair manner and challenging complacency.
• Prioritise HSE practices and requirements throughout the plant.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

About You:

• Significant experience in a leadership/supervisory role within a Plant / Operations processing environment. 
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of tailings dam operations.
• Prior experience ensuring continuous effective supply of water to the operations from the reverse osmosis plant, and ongoing operation of the wastewater treatment plant.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience of operational teams which supports team growth and development.
• Able to adjust or change best to meet the needs of the situation or environment to deliver upon project outcomes.
• Well-developed project, time management and prioritisation skills, with high attention to detail, excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in fostering strong safety culture based on open and transparent communication with all Plant Operations stakeholders.
• Proven ability to utilise the strength of others to achieve goals and use interpersonal skills to lead, coach and develop others.
• Previous experience and a broad awareness of operating costs, capital project development and adherence to budget requirements.
