About the role
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join Rio Tinto’s Business Improvement team who is looking for a Specialist, Productivity Analysis to join the team. This role will be pivotal in providing analytical support and expertise whilst leveraging key stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of the RTIO Improvement Lifecyle (IL). The IL produces critical priorities and inputs into the RTIO Improvement Plan.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on a Monday to Friday Perth based roster with flexible working arrangements which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Principal, Productivity Analysis, you will:
Support the delivery of the Building Full Potential program to develop improvement packages of work
Undertake and support performance analysis and reporting for Best Operator program
Support in execution of VSM and Playbook program as well as integrating outcomes into the Improvement Plan
Support for Improvement project diagnostics and prioritization processes
Provide support on analytical tooling and coaching for RTIO divisions and sites
Support in delivery of Rapid Productivity Assessments for sites as part of annual planning and engage with stakeholders to own outcomes and ensure flow into site improvement plan
Support delivery of key insights, inputs and prioritisation for the RTIO Improvement Lifecycle.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to best deliver Productivity Analysis scope of works
Engage and Collaborate with the broader RTIO BI community.
What you’ll bring

Proven communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced role, supporting multiple deliverables and stakeholders
Establishing common ways of working with peer group
Experience in supporting large scale transformation projects
Experience in or broad understanding of Mining Operations and Value Chains
A customer centric focus with the ability to lead change
Ability to apply structured thinking, analysis and insights to frame, solve and deliver tangible outcomes against business problems.

This is a Perth based role working out of our Central Park CBD office building.
