We are looking for a Programme Lead to join our Facilities Project Delivery team within Sustaining Capital, to lead a team of Project Leads and Engineer’s in delivering Medium to Large brownfield, facilities, camps, villages, and infrastructure projects across the Pilbara.

Reporting to the Sustaining Capital Facilities Delivery Superintendent and working in a collaborative, inclusive and diverse team, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising, coaching, developing, and guiding a team of Project Leads through project lifecycle
- Ensuring project compliance with Rio Tinto facilities standard, design principal guidance notes and basis of design documentation
- Coordinating between facilities strategy and engineering, operations, HSE, procurement and finance to find the correct balance between project outcomes, facilities strategy objectives, technical advancement, and future agility for the assets constructed in our projects
- Liaison with internal RTIO clients and stakeholders (Facilities, Communities, operations, mining) to understand client requirements
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team (standard for all job adverts)
- Solid experience working within project leadership roles and be confident in effectively leading, mentoring, and coaching team members as well as interfacing with senior leaders
- Demonstrated experience implementing architectural and interior design principles into contractual delivery frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Experience with commercial & residential built form design and construction, building standards and design governance would be beneficial
- A degree in Engineering, Architecture or relevant Project Management qualification would be beneficial
- Working Knowledge of Archer, CPMS, Sustaining Capital Framework and ALIM drawing system, would be an advantage

Where you’ll be working
This role is based in Perth, at our head office in Central Park, and working Monday to Friday. We want you to have a great work/life balance, so the days, hours, location of work are flexible (including working from home). You may be required to travel to the Pilbara to support our customers on an as required basis.
