Project Analyst - Manufacturing

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

Fortescue Future Industries is currently undertaking a rapid expansion and are seeking applications for a Project Analyst to support Fortescue's portfolio of green energy manufacturing projects. 

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Undertake administration of a Federal Grant including project report drafting, cost analysis and milestone tracking
  • Working closely with the Senior Commercial Analyst to monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities and assist with business case development for input into board papers
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather critical data
  • Attend project meetings and site visits
  • Assist with coordinating communications and activities between FFI, agents, consultants, and other advisors
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required to support the Manufacturing project’s function

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field
  • Experience with Grants and other government incentives desirable
  • Experience in renewable, hydrogen and related technologies, supply chains or manufacturing would be beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and proactive individual, comfortable working autonomously in a complex environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Resilient with an ability to manage competing deadlines
