Project Coordinator
Work Location: Fortescue Centre
- Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people on the banks of the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River).
Roster:
Monday to Friday, with some WFH. Flexible work arrangements will be considered for the right applicant.
Supporting the GM Cultural Heritage, this role will combine executive administration tasks and organisational skills with business communications such as presentations and reports. At the interface between the business and our Traditional Custodians, Cultural Heritage has a key role in enabling Fortescue operations in line with regulatory and community expectations. This dynamic and growing team is an exciting and satisfying place to be.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diary and email management for the Group Manager, including travel bookings.
- Attend management meetings, record actions and follow up
- Assist the management team with event bookings and meeting co-ordination (internal and external)
- Conduct project research as required, including sourcing relevant legislation and case law, public database searches
- Creating, editing and formatting presentations, documentation and correspondence in accordance with Fortescue brand standards
- Assist management team with reporting by sourcing information as required, preparing and distributing reports and report templates.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience using document control systems, eg PIMS.
- Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience developing document templates.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Diplomacy, confidentiality and assertiveness
- Demonstrated capability and flexibility to manage competing priorities
