Roster: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and adhere to FFI Vision and Values.
  • Responsible for being honest and frugal in management of project package scopes, budgets and schedules.
  • Engaging and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders (domestic and international) to obtain project, technical, commercial and schedule information.
  • Develop and maintain management level reporting including briefs and deliverables.
  • Support the maintenance of multiple detailed scopes of work, control formal review and approval.
  • Develop and executing value-add strategies demonstrable objectives and goals.
  • Assist with the development, review and maintenance of deliverables in conjunction with the Project / Study Manager to minimize impact of slippage to delivery schedule, scope creep or budget over run.
  • Assist with the development, review and maintenance project technical specifications - designs, Scope of Work, and functional specifications.
  • Accountable for producing minutes, action and decisions register.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project action lists, deliverables, risk, issues and decisions register.
  • Role will require accommodating meetings across various time zones.
  • Aligned and demonstrating a clear understanding of the FFI Culture Values.
  • Highly responsible, trustworthy, driven and value focused.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Project Management qualifications or training is preferred.
  • Engineering Degree or similar STEM degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in dynamic delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and strive to achieve zero harm.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • An understanding of whole-of-project-life phases, functions and processes in complex projects.
  • Experience in, or a pathway to comprehension of developing projects in the renewables industry.
  • Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite, predominately in Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to support the management of design and delivery of complex, multi component, multi-disciplinary engineering of projects with clear strategic life of project understanding resulting in optimized value.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the business and project drivers and support the management and interpretation of these through the project or projects in their portfolio.
  • Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial spirit in identifying issues and developing pragmatic solutions which may be project based and have portfolio value.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proactive thinking.
  • Clear and concise communicator, proven abilities in delivering clear reporting and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills in building rapport and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
