About the Role
You will contribute to the scoping, technical review and approval of engineering design documentation in order to achieve project outcomes and drive improvements in Technical Standards and Engineering Service Provider performance.
• Provide specific/relevant discipline engineering expertise and guidance to meet BHP's technical expectations • Conduct Project Documentation review, verify construction methodologies and advise on engineering decisions for projects in alignment with Project/Construction/Commissioning Engineering Standards • Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders • Identify and assess risks, make risk informed decisions, using BHP's risk management framework and build a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes • Plan, track the delivery of and manage a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes
About You
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering • High-level negotiation and influencing skills for liaising with stakeholders • Proactive problem-solving mindset for managing challenges • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
