Project Engineer - Decarbonisation

Work location: Perth, WA

Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Project Development Manager, this person will provide project engineering support for scoping studies of wind farm projects in and around the Esperance region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Engineering Manager in wind farm design
  • Support the Project Development Manager in project schedules, budgets, and project control functions
  • Engage key stakeholders to ensure projects satisfy operational requirements
  • Interface with engineering team/s to ensure project objectives are met
  • Support wind monitoring campaigns
  • Site based visits as required
  • Review and comment on project technical specifications - designs, SoW, functional specifications

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Experience in a similar role (renewables highly preferable)
  • Project Management qualifications or training highly regarded
  • Understanding of Wind Farm design and development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and proactive individual, comfortable working independently as well as part of a team in a complex environment
  • Ability to present and communicate information in a clear and coherent manner
  • A high commitment to safety and zero harm
