About the Role
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical to join our Engineering team at Narrabri coal operations. You will ensure through hands -on management approach, ensuring cost, quality and time specifications are met. Your Electrical Engineering expertise will be of pivotal support to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with legislation and regulation.
What You’ll Do
- Actively contribute to Whitehaven Coal's safety culture
- Providing logistical and management guidance and direction to the Engineering Team on projects
- Controlling and ensuring overall operating efficiency of the Engineering job portfolio
- Working closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure quality standards and technical excellence are achieved
- Managing engineering projects vie the Engineering Job System
- Effective internal/external liaison to ensure project requirements are identified and achieved
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated project management experience including report writing at an advanced level
- Outstanding time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
