About the Role
Olympic Dam is currently recruiting for a Specialist Project Engineer. The objective of this role will be to develop project scope of work, front end loading and manage the Asset Integrity Remediation project portfolio.
Based at Olympic Dam, this role is offered on a 5/2,4/3 roster (with flexibility) either FIFO ex-Adelaide or residential.
Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant, you will have responsibility for the following:
- An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
- Inspecting pre-identified defects and develop remediation scopes.
- Develop scope of works and specifications for projects to tendering out.
- Assist in preparation of budgets and monitoring budgets versus expenditure on the project.
- Identification and reporting of defects with risk ranking.
- Manage Tank remediations and replacements.
- Ability to provide quick technical solutions in Mechanical Engineering space to keep plant running, until proper remediation is taken place.
- Follow 1SAP work management process including cost management.
About You
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (recognised by Engineers Australia).
- Excel and word experience required with 1SAP work management experience advantageous.
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle.
- Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously.
- Proven commitment to safety.
- Demonstrate the confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others in ‘Safety Leadership’.
