Project Manager
Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.
Roster: Monday - Friday
We are looking for a PM with strong BA background and can manage scrum activities and deliverables in Agile environment.
The PM / BA will be reporting into ‘Superintendents Improvements & Support’ & is required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a team of developers & task allocations.
- Monitor & Manage product’s scope and timeline.
- Manage deliverables and coordinate release effectively.
- Gather, understand and analyse requirements.
- Help design, document and maintain system and delivery processes.
- Help perform Functional Testing when (& as) required.
- Manage agile ceremonies - Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.
- Be the point of contact for all project communications (internal & external stakeholders)
- Work with product owners/SME’s to handle backlogs and new requests.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
- Manage releases and help teams implement changes effectively.
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
- Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience with agile tools (Ex: Azure Devops / JIRA)
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement)
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or a similar field is a plus.
- Scrum master and /or Project Management certification is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and servant leadership skills
- Knowledge in generating process documentation.
