Project Manager

Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Roster: Monday - Friday 

We are looking for a PM with strong BA background and can manage scrum activities and deliverables in Agile environment.

The PM / BA will be reporting into ‘Superintendents Improvements & Support’ & is required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Responsibilities include:

• Manage a team of developers & task allocations.
• Monitor & Manage product’s scope and timeline.
• Manage deliverables and coordinate release effectively.
• Gather, understand and analyse requirements.
• Help design, document and maintain system and delivery processes.
• Help perform Functional Testing when (& as) required.
• Manage agile ceremonies - Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.
• Be the point of contact for all project communications (internal & external stakeholders)
• Work with product owners/SME’s to handle backlogs and new requests.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
• Manage releases and help teams implement changes effectively.
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
• Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.

 Skills and Experience:

• Experience with agile tools (Ex: Azure Devops / JIRA)
• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with software development
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
• Degree in Computer Science, Business or a similar field is a plus.
• Scrum master and /or Project Management certification is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and servant leadership skills
• Knowledge in generating process documentation.
