Project Manager 

Work location: Phoenix, Arizona

Roster: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery of highly complex, large to mega-projects ranging from $100M to in excess of $1 billion to the approved project objectives.
  • Being a champion of health and safety, ensuring an effective and robust health and safety system exists and company targets are achieved.
  • Providing leadership (health & safety, technical, financial, and managerial)  to the Owner’s team, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
  • Manages project implementation including all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to project management and administration, including reporting, budget development and monitoring, financial transactions, execution of project plans, and project performance.
  • Ensures governance and compliance through the enablement of Company systems, tools and processes used for effective project delivery.
  • Ensuring timely reporting and reviews are completed in accordance with  designated timelines, including updates to the Project Steering Committee, North American leadership and Corporate leadership.
  • Working with the Country Team and Government Relations Team to support key relationships with Federal and Provincial Government bodies and communities.
  • Ensure compliance with all Government regulations and procedures relating to maintaining our business licenses.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies and systems.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field from an accredited university with significant experience in a leadership position managing similar programs.
  • Project delivery of complex large and mega-projects ranging from $100M to in excess of US$1 Billion, in either the Industrial Gas, Petrochemical or LNG industries.
  • Experience working as Company Representative / comfortable operating with an Owners team organization.
  • Demonstrated management, and communication skills to liaise and advocate with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to write technical reports and deliver presentations
