Pit N Portal have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the PNP family. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role will be based in the Goldfields Region on an 8 & 6 roster.

Key responsibilities include:
- Work within Pit N Portal’s Values Charter, Code of Conduct and it’s policies and procedures
- Be visible, and provide leadership and mentoring to your team
- Detailed organisation and planning of U/G operations
- Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive practices across site
- Attend daily and weekly planning sessions to encompass the mining and maintenance schedules
- Always pre-emptive and forward plans for the daily operation of mining equipment and its ancillaries
- Have a thorough understanding of the project operation and contract
- Create value for the company and client by streamlining and improving operating efficiencies to reduce cost and maximise return
- Monitoring and reporting on mining conditions is completed on time and produced to relevant parties
- Monitor the excavation and stope performance and dimensions on a routine basis and make alterations as appropriate to ensure compliance with the contract specifications
- Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Manager role
- Extensive management experience within the mining industry with demonstrable understanding of underground mining conditions and within a contracting environment
- Strong computer skills and literacy, with experience using Pronto or a similar system highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build successful and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to deliver results
- A high level of flexibility to adapt to changes as necessitated by the business
- Degree or qualification in Mining or Engineering – desirable but not essential
- WA Shift Supervisor Certificate or First-Class Mine Managers Certificate
- C Class Manual Licence
- National Police Clearance, within 6 months
