Job Responsibilities
About the role
Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced Underground Project Manager to join the Underground Contracting team. This position will be on an 8:6 roster, FIFO. The purpose of this role is to ensure the Underground project is delivered in accordance with the contract, tender, budget and specifications outlined in the contract and to ensure those deliverables are met and consistent with client requirements. The Project Manager is to set direction and engage effectively with the project workforce to create a performance culture that delivers positive results.
About you
- 5+ years in a leadership position
- Extensive experience in Underground Mining.
- Development and management of budgets with an annual value of $50M+.
- Experience in the management and coordination of large scale multi-functional groups and teams while driving performance.
- Manual drivers licence.
- Preferably a qualified Mining Engineer but not mandatory
