The Greenbushes project is located in the picturesque South West region of Western Australia in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. Our client, Talison Lithium, is the world’s leading lithium minerals concentrate provider and the Greenbushes project is recognised as containing the world’s highest grade and largest hard rock deposit of the lithium mineral spodumene. Macmahon is pleased to deliver surface mining operations at the project from 01 July 2023.

 
Macmahon is seeking expressions of interest for a Project Manager to join the Greenbushes team on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) basis, on a 5/2/4/3 roster. The Project Manager is responsible for leadership of the operation, driving safe and efficient operational delivery in accordance with the project schedule and increasing efficiencies through a value driven approach. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager leads the development of effective working relationships with internal and client stakeholders.

About you

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• extensive mining experience of 10+ years
• Experience implementing mining statutory compliance - HSEQ, DMIRS regulations, WorkSafe
• Proven history of successfully managing large multifunctional groups
• Demonstrated delivery of project objectives and targets
• High level of financial acumen with regards to operational objectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well developed leadership and management skills
