Role overview:
Your mission as Project Manager is to advance the development of the Predictive Maintenance Platform (PMP) for FMG's Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) fleet.
Your role is focused on the development and rollout of the PMP to achieve its two main objectives:
1. Identification & correction of equipment faults before functional failure,
2. Enabling HME condition-based and predictive maintenance strategies
The PMP draws on many equipment-health data sources and technologies (e.g. oil analysis, machine alarms & operating parameters), state-of-the-art analytical techniques & industry-leading software tools.
This role will primarily be required to project manage a broad team of internal and external resources that are developing the PMP software. Stakeholder engagement will form a key part of the role and will include soliciting end-user feedback, prioritizing requirements and then translating scopes of work for implementation for the development team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage the PMP’s long-term vision based on user and business requirements,
- Lead the team of software developers on executing the project plan,
- General project management of vendors (POs, meetings, schedules, quality assurance etc.)
- Collect and prioritise feedback on UX design and feature requests from the Condition Monitoring Analysts (CMA).
- Develop, and manage, the change-management and project-communications plans.
- Measure and communicate the impact and value of the PMP project.
Qualifications and Experience:
- IT systems development, UX design and coding
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as;
· Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, electrical, mechatronic)
· Software Engineering
· Computer Science
· Information Technology
· Operational technology
· Or equivalent industry experience
- Project management (software or complex technology projects highly desirable)
- Asset management, reliability or predictive maintenance and condition monitoring (desirable)
- Ops Technology and operational data systems (desirable)
