With close to 900 machines within our rental fleet, supported by a network of maintenance & component rebuilding workshops and powered by our internal Asset Management team and fleet optimisation technology. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Project Manager to join our Operations in Queensland.
Your purpose will be to lead the site asset management and maintenance activities ensuring that our asset health is maintained and continuously improved, while maintaining effective relationships with our client and your team.
About the Position
- Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent maintenance results to Earthmoving equipment in a busy mining environment
- Proven leadership skills to provide guidance, support, and direction to your team
- Ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness within functional areas
- Continuous ability to develop strategies for the team to ensure a strong team and culture
- Manage the development and implementation of maintenance management strategies
Your Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have the following skills and knowledge:
- Mechanical trade qualification or engineering degree with proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- Strong understanding of maintenance management practices and workflows
- Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritise maintenance requirements with conflicting site priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective planning and time management skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to establish and maintain a strong culture within crews on sites
- Strong HSET knowledge and adherence with an understanding of QLD Coal Mining Legislation
- Good understanding of business and finance goals in conjunction with overall project requirements
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as AMT, SAP, JDE.
- Ability to travel within the region, occasionally with short notice.
