Our Opportunity
Location: Cloudbreak – Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.
Roster: 4D/3R. FIFO EX Perth
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical to lead and deliver a portfolio of electrical projects at our Cloudbreak operations.
In this role, you will oversee projects from design through execution and commissioning, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget. Working closely with operations, maintenance teams and contractors, you will play an important role in delivering project outcomes aligned with operational and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of electrical projects from concept through to completion.
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee design, installation and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance and external contractors.
- Monitor project performance, manage change, and track costs and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks while providing clear and timely reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Drive collaboration and continuous improvement to support safe and effective project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
You will bring demonstrated capability in delivering electrical projects within an operational or industrial environment, with the ability to lead multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
You will also bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant electrical trade qualification, supported by project management experience or relevant certification.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale electrical projects in an operational or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
