We are looking for a motivated, safety conscious Planner to join our Resource Development – Drilling & Earthworks team. This critical role will support the activities required to sustain our license to operate to further support the delivery of the Geoscience and Water Resource Evaluation 5-year plan technical objectives.

The scope of work you will be accountable for is challenging and diverse. Your demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels will play a critical part to the effectiveness in this role.

Reporting to the Senior Planner and working in a diverse team within the Resource Development Planning department, you will:

  • Plan, maintain, communicate, and track progress of near mine and remote drilling and earth works projects 
  • Complete end to end process of all approvals required for land access and funding approvals
  • Deliver a number of detailed project scopes in a timely manner
  • Update and maintain data management systems
  • Input approved accommodation demand
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies

What you will bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Demonstrated skills in planning or scheduling activities, preferably within a project management environment
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to work with all stakeholders and contractors
  • Capable to work in challenging environments, and maintain effective time management skills
  • Arc GIS experience is highly desirable
  • A current manual WA Driver’s license

Where you’ll be working

This role is based in Perth, at our head office in Central Park, and working Monday to Friday. We want you to have a great work/life balance, so the days, hours, location of work are flexible (including working from home). You may be required to travel to the Pilbara to support our customers on an as required basis.
