About the role
We are seeking an engaging, safety focused Supervisor Projects to join our Mine Operations Projects team based in Tom Price.

This is a great opportunity to draw on your expertise in managing projects, leading, and mentoring contractor’s activities. You will have a diverse portfolio looking after CAPEX and OPEX project execution for the Greater Tom Price Mine Operations team, including contactor management. A great opportunity to use your leadership and technical skills to ensure effective execution of work. You will need to be a self-starter who thrives on achieving goals and can work calmly and independently under pressure.
Working on an 8 on 6 off roster, day shift only, and reporting to the Senior Projects, you will:
- Work with a diverse group of stakeholders to identify, develop and implement Projects
- Manage the engagement and performance of external contractor and suppliers and monitor the quality and standard of services delivered by external contractors
- Perform contractor reviews with vendor partners
- Drive change that adds value and create efficiencies
What you will need for this role
- Be proactive with a commitment in driving a safe and inclusive team culture
- Have leadership experience and be confident in leading, developing, and coaching team
- Contractor management supervision or project management experience is favourable
- Ability to manage multiple programs of work concurrently, including implementing projects while also planning for an ongoing workflow
- Be an innovative problem solver, looking for efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities
- Be able to build relationships with diverse teams of both internal and external stakeholders at various levels
- Have a keen drive to promote and support local and/or indigenous businesses
- Hold a current "C Class" WA Manual Driver’s License

Tom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees.
