Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Projects Manager, this role is responsible for delivering timely, efficient and effective high level office administration, information coordination and confidential support services.

The role will require you to:

  • Be an active part of the administration of the Yancoal contractor management process.
  • Manage MCO Project team and construction contractor related day to day admin across a broad range of subjects.
  • Project procurement, including raising purchase requisitions in SAP, SES invoices, etc.
  • Provide general project administration support to the wider projects team.

Skills and Experience

  • Organisation and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment where there is constant change.
  • Effective and clear communicator.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Experience in SAP processes.
  • Competent in organised filing of relevant project information electronically.
  • Be engaged in “changing the way” we do things to drive continuous improvement in every aspect of our Projects Operation.
  • Experience in NSW Coal Mining environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in a construction or projects environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Microsoft office skills.
  • Be an active and engaged team player in a caring environment that is underpinned by accountability.
