About the Opportunity
Our Newcastle office has an opening for a Purchasing Administrator to join our lively and close-knit Procurement Team. A Keen eye for detail is a must as well as the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal departments across our mining operations.
As well as providing a high standard of quality transactional procurement services, duties will include:
- Converting approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders
- Supporting the procurement team & working closely with the accounts team
- Reporting, inbox management and other admin functions
- Stakeholder engagement & providing an excellent level of customer service
Are you who we are looking for?
In addition to working in a high-volume processing environment, you have:
- Relevant purchasing or procurement experience within a large organisation (desirable, but not crucial)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
