The Purchasing Officer is responsible for delivering efficient, cost-effective procurement services to support Deflector operations.

Deflector Site Overview
Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector South West deposits.
Reporting to the Supply Supervisor, the Purchasing Officer is responsible for delivering efficient, cost-effective procurement services to support Deflector operations. The role focuses on maximising purchasing value through the timely sourcing and procurement of goods and services, fostering strong supplier relationships, and ensuring continuity of supply.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Process purchase requisitions in accordance with established procurement procedures and Vault Minerals’ policies.
- Source and obtain supplier quotations to meet operational requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and information within the Pronto system.
- Procure inventory items in line with warehouse minimum and maximum stock levels, ensuring purchases are made at negotiated contract rates or represent the best value for the operation.
- Conduct weekly expediting activities, including follow-up of overdue purchase orders and communication of supply delays to stakeholders.
- Provide assistance to the Warehouse team as required to support operational objectives.
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a site-based procurement or supply role within the resource sector, preferably mining.
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably Pronto.
- Ability to work on-site in a remote mining location.
- WA Driver’s License (Manual C Class)
- Forklift License
