Site Administrator - Rail

Work Location: Port Hedland. Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

Roster: 8D/6R FIFO

The role will be based in Fortescue’s Port Hedland office. The purpose of this role is to provide direct day-to-day administrative support to the site Rail teams – Operations, Maintenance, and Infrastructure.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Manage travel requirements through correct systems and conduct regular audits and roster management
• Answer email and phone enquiries in a professional efficient manner
• Maintain office policies and procedures
• Comply with all procurement guidelines, for example, raising/receipting/invoicing purchase orders
• Ensure adequate stocks available within budget for PPE, office supplies
• Manage crew transport to and from the airport
• Working with teams to ensure correct medicals are booked in a timely manner

 Qualifications and skills required: 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience using SAP and Workflow
• Excellent time management and scheduling skills
• Rostering experience (preferred)
