We are looking for a Rail Asset Health Rollingstock Evaluator to join our 24/7 Asset Health team based at the Perth Operations Centre.

This role supports our autonomous rail network with the remote monitoring and diagnosis of rollingstock faults and provides fault recovery guidance to field personnel to ensure continuous operation of the rail network minimising delays.

This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual. Reporting to the Operations Center Production Supervisor, you will:

  • Monitor rollingstock equipment for health trends and diagnose faults as they occur
  • Liaise with field teams and provide fault rectification direction and support

About you

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills, sound communication and computer skills
  • Diagnostic, heavy diesel mechanical or electrical experience
  • A strong safety focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Comfortable learning new software applications
  • Attention to detail
