About the role
We are looking for experienced Scheduler’s to join our Pilbara Rail Maintenance Integration , Scheduling team. Successful candidates maintain and improve the maintenance scheduling work management process to maximise resource effectiveness, increase the reliability of our Rail Network and minimise the interruption to the Iron Ore Supply Chain, to ensure asset integrity and maintain a healthy balance across our supply chain.

This role is a great opportunity to understand the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair/preventive/predictive maintenance activities on the organisation’s Railway Network.
Reporting to the Scheduling Superintendent and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will:
Identify and communicate the critical tasks in the scheduling process to ensure weekly approved works are scheduled
Develop short to long term maintenance plans/schedules and ensure major maintenance is conducted to Asset Management standards, to increase reliability and availability of assets
Prepare schedules and capture all rescheduled work for present and future schedules
Report on key metrics as well as applying the 5 guiding principles of Lean for business improvement
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure there is effective communication of the plans and upcoming maintenance to ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place
Participate in equipment failure analysis working with the Reliability Engineer
What you’ll bring

Proven experience working in SAP
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office including Project and Excel
A current Australian driver's license
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Able to be proactive, flexible and work independently
