Join the Olympic Dam team as an EXPERIENCED Leading Hand Maintenance Raise Drill Fitter and be responsible for maintenance and repairs of the raise drill and IT fleet. 


About the Role

• Coordinate and lead maintenance teams on-site.
• Plan and execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Provide training and mentoring to apprentices and tradespeople.
• Liaise with operations and planning teams to align maintenance with production goals.

About you


• Australian-recognised mechanical trade qualification (e.g., Heavy Diesel Fitter, Mechanical Fitter).
• Extensive experience maintaining raise bore drill rigs (e.g., Robbins, Dresser, Atlas Copco/Epiroc).
• Leadership experience in supervising maintenance teams in underground or raise bore operations.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems 
• Working at Heights and First Aid.
• C Class Driver’s Licence.
• High-risk forklift ticket
