Recruitment Advisor

Emeco Group are seeking a Recruitment Advisor who is passionate about matching the right people to the right roles. With your key responsibility being attracting and sourcing candidates, you will work closely with the Hiring Managers to deliver the perfect talent for our expanding workforce across Queensland.

Key responsibilities include:

• Get creative: write & post job ads on external job seeking pages, resume and phone screen candidates for compatibility & competence criteria.
• Support our team: a huge part of this role is developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates – included in this, is assisting and conducting interviews.
• Make a difference: use your passion & tenacity to give our candidates a great onboarding experience by maintaining all compliance, regular check ins and a smooth transition into our business!
• Build our team: as well as introducing people into the business, part of this role includes representing the business at events and functions, delivery of recruitment campaigns and reporting on strategy and activity in the team.

Required skills / experience & attributes:

• You are a tenacious go-getter, who is passionate about building a team and putting the right people in the right roles
• You have a positive attitude, think outside the box and have a keen understanding around recruitment urgency
• Have an understanding of the market, don’t mind cold calling and reaching out to candidates
• Have a recruitment background, ideally in mining, but would be flexible and willing to teach the right person
