About this Opportunity
Whitehaven Coal have a permanent role available for a safe and efficient Operator based at our Rocglen Mine site. You will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of mining equipment undertaking various rehabilitation works.
- Operate a range of equipment to undertake earth works & bulk movement of materials
- Implementation of rehabilitation activities and key objectives at Rocglen
- Work as part of a small close-knit rehab team
- Monday-Friday Day Shifts, 10.5 hour days
- Local DIDO role, be home every night
Who are we looking for?
Operators who can demonstrate a commitment to safety and visible work practices, maintain a high work output level and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture. Requirements include:
- Experience operating dozers, dump trucks, water carts, excavator or graders
- Statements of Competency/VOCs for equipment
- Live local to the Gunnedah region
- Ability to work a Monday – Friday roster
- Current Drivers Licence and ability to pass a NSW Coal Board Medical
