We are looking for a Rehabilitation Specialist to join our Rehabilitation & Closure team

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced rehabilitation practitioner to contribute to our rehabilitation and revegetation projects and continual improvement. Working Monday to Friday with irregular travel to our operations in the Pilbara, you will:

  • Apply your technical skills in developing and providing guidance for rehabilitation and revegetation programs, prepare and review internal and external reports
  • Plan, procure and implement mine site rehabilitation projects in an expanding portfolio
  • Ensure rehabilitation projects are implemented to meet stakeholder and company requirements and targets
  • Actively seek and realise opportunities to increase progressive rehabilitation across our operations in the Pilbara, and incorporate into annual planning processes
  • Apply your project management skills to deliver safe, quality hectares on budget and schedule. Identify opportunities to optimise outcomes, reduce risks and liability
  • Coordinate seed procurement, species mixes and revegetation improvement projects
  • Develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you’ll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Degree in Science, Engineering or other relevant field
  • Experience in Project Management and/or Contractor Management
  • Experience in mining, rehabilitation, revegetation, civil or earthworks

It will also be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Basic skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Where you will be working

This role is based in Perth, Western Australia, out of our Central Park office, working Monday – Friday, with ad hoc travel to sites in the Pilbara. We support and encourage flexible working arrangements.
