Reliability Engineer - Component and Asset Rebuilds

Are you ready to be part of something transformative? Emeco are currently seeking a hands-on Reliability Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Based at our Brisbane Office, this is an exciting opportunity to work directly in our Component and Asset Rebuild function to drive a reliability centred continuous improvement culture.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Understand component failures using root cause analysis techniques and rapidly introduce change to prevent future occurrences.

·         Drive the standardisation and digitisation of the component and asset rebuild function.

·         Review current QA / QC processes and complete gap analysis to ensure consistent and repeated performance outcomes for asset and component rebuilds.

·         Ensure rigorous change management process and risk assessment is applied for the introduction of new processes, procedures and parts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Relevant Trade Background – Heavy Diesel Fitter
  • Previous experience in a reliability, maintenance, or asset management role within the manufacturing, mining or heavy equipment sector.
  • Experience with Mobile Mining fleet and components including CAT, Hitachi, and Liebherr preferred. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for improvement.
  • A passion for safety, quality, and operational excellence.
