Reliability Specialist - Non-processing Infrastructure
Work Location: Fortescue Centre & Bennett St - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to the Perth based Asset Management & Engineering team to support reliability of Non-processing Infrastructure assets across our Pilbara operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain a strong site presence to support sustainable stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and deliver long term reliability improvement projects aimed at optimising reliability of NPI assets.
- Support capital planning process to enable economic replacement of assets.
- Develop equipment life cycle maintenance strategies and cost of ownership models.
- Lead failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis (RCA) to identify failure modes posing excessive risks to operations and implement maintenance strategy changes to address where required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred), or equivalent
- Operational experience (i.e., maintenance and/or project roles) with NPI assets in the Resources industry is preferred.
- Previous Asset Management and Reliability Engineering experience preferred.
- Experience leading Root Cause Analysis and defect elimination activities
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations – i.e., Work Health and Safety (mines) Regulations, Dangerous Goods regulations, etc.
