Ready to take the next step in your maintenance career?

Emeco is seeking a motivated maintenance professional to join our team. Whether you're bringing years of industry experience or are a recent engineering graduate eager to begin your career, your engineering degree or mechanical trade qualification, combined with an interest in heavy industrial environments, will enable you to make a meaningful contribution to the reliability and performance of critical plant and equipment.

You are naturally curious, you enjoy digging into problems to find the real root cause, and you take preventative maintenance seriously. Your proactive approach cuts downtime and keeps continuous improvement moving across operations.

You are comfortable with computerised maintenance systems and can pull together reports, work through the data, and put your findings in front of the people who need them to make good decisions.

Why join Emeco?

•     Competitive remuneration plus 12% superannuation and fortnightly pay

•     A Monday to Friday, 5:2 roster

•     Flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance

•     A residential Perth role based at our modern Osborne Park head office, 800m from the nearest train station

•     A hands-on role with regular site visits and travel across our operational locations

•     The chance to shape and build a growing reliability function from the ground up

•     A team focused on real operational outcomes, not just reporting

What you'll be doing

•     Be part of building and shaping Emeco's reliability function as it grows

•     Work directly with site teams to lift maintenance execution and asset performance

•     Identify and eliminate repeat failures through structured root cause analysis

•     Turn data into clear, practical actions that reduce downtime and improve availability

•     Sharpen planning and scheduling discipline to improve work quality and efficiency

•     Support the rollout of condition-based and predictive maintenance practices

•     Partner with operations so reliability initiatives actually get executed on the ground

•     Coach supervisors and trades on reliability thinking and decision-making

•     Contribute to Emeco's Work Management and Asset Performance frameworks

What you'll bring

•     A mechanical engineering degree, a mechanical trade qualification, or an equivalent recognised qualification

•     Experience or a strong interest in improving asset performance in mining or heavy mobile equipment environments

•     Experience with CAT, Hitachi or Liebherr equipment is highly regarded

•     A strong grasp of maintenance work management, planning and execution

•     The ability to work with data, spot trends, and turn insight into action

•     Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to work directly with site teams and operations

If you want to put your technical expertise to work in a challenging, hands-on role where you can build something, we want to hear from you.
