About the opportunity
We are presently seeking an individual to assist the regional Return to Work (RTW) coordinators in streamlining and cost-effectively planning for asset transitions from projects to scheduled maintenance, ensuring their seamless integration into new projects upon re-entry into service.
Core Responsibilities
Dealing with both internal and external customers, with sound product and project knowledge you will ensure that work is carried out to achieve strong asset performance by strategic work scope management. This role requires you to engage broadly with internal stakeholders across the business, including sales, estimation, planning, and finance. With over 800 assets across the Emeco business, you will be working on multiple projects and scope at any given time, requiring you to have strong work management and prioritisation skills. In driving the success of these rebuild and overhaul projects, you will play a critical role in Emeco’s continued growth and the success of the midlife asset management strategy. Specified role tasks include:
- Reviewing AMT and asset history to determine the correct scope of work to be executed
- Creation of AMT shells and work orders for the entire scope of the project and producing job packs for the execution team
- Assist with the strategic sourcing of parts and components focussing on internal supply from Emeco’s Force Equipment, and contracted procurement suppliers thereafter
- Ensure variations are managed through the approval process working to ensure adherence to overall scope budget
- Assisting the RTW co-ordinators with account and invoice enquires, receipting purchase orders and progress claims in line with RTW Co-ordinators
- Managing the work history, commissioning documents and AMT close out after the event has been completed
Required skills and experience
- Drivers Licence
- Qualification in a mechanical trade (HME), degree qualification in engineering, planning or management (preferable)
- Experience in maintenance of heavy mobile earth moving equipment, in particular CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu; Trade Background preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance scheduling.
- Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing priorities.
- High-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to foster strong working relationships.
- Ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Substantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs including AMT (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of what drives equipment productivity in the mining environment
- Strong understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.
- Strong time management skills and ability to plan and forecast.
- Previous experience in a similar role
