We are currently seeking experienced underground Rhino Drill Fitters for our FIFO WA/DIDO Kalgoorlie Operations.
Raising Australia is a specialist raise-drilling contractor within the Byrnecut Group, offering expert services to assist with the extraction of minerals underground. We have completed projects across Australia and Indonesia, using our modern fleet of machinery including electric-hydraulic drill rigs capable of box hole boring and conventional raise drilling.
Duties:
The role will encompass the operation of the following machinery:
- Rhino 100HM Box Hole Drill
- Robbins Raise bore machines
- Toyota Land Cruiser VDJ79 Utilities
- Integrated Tool Carriers
- Ancillary equipment
Requirements:
- At least two years experience working on underground machinery
- Relevant Trade Certificates
- Experience operating light vehicles and wheel loaders in an underground environment
- Experience with Sandvik and Robbins Drills
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Current and Valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence
- Current Senior First Aid certificate
- Preferred candidates to reside in Queensland
- Current Senior First Aid certificate
- Current National Police Clearance
