About the Role

Going home safe remains our number one priority. While BHP’s safety performance has improved considerably over past years, an analysis of reported injuries and near misses with fatality potential showed there is more work to do.

  • Lead engineering studies and pilots to determine the feasibility of technologies and solutions
  • Initiate capital projects by scoping projects, cost estimating and prioritising projects that delivers maximum value
  • Support BHP's Management of Change process to ensure changes are successfully embedded.

You will be a self-motivated professional with a solid record of accomplishment of achieving results.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Engaging communication and influencing skills, and be comfortable working with a diverse group of technical and operations professionals
  • Technical writing and well-presented written presentation skills

  • Experience with project development (desirable)
  • Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way
