About the role
We are looking for a Safe Production System (SPS) Stream Lead to join our Operational Excellence team at Paraburdoo. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting and leading productivity improvement projects, to ensure sustainable value is created within the operation. You will coach and support operational leaders in implementation and embedding of business improvement initiatives.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You will work on a 5/2/4/3 FIFO or Residential roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Principal Business Improvement, you will:
Develop and deliver productivity improvement plans.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to execute plans.
Ensure compliance with standardized processes, systems, and tools.
Provide technical support and direction to project stakeholders.
Monitor and report on resource utilization to identify opportunities for productivity improvement.
Maintain metrics and reporting standards, integrating outcomes into planning and development.
About you
Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Ability to work cohesively with and influence others.
Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
Extensive experience leading process initiatives and improvement programs.
Applied change expertise with proven stakeholder engagement
Degree in a business or mining-related discipline is advantageous.
Project Management & Change Management experience is desired.
Six Sigma Qualification (Black/Green Belt) & or Lean Methodology Experience is desired.
3+ years of operational experience in a similar role within the Mining or Manufacturing industry.
Experience working within both Operations and/or Maintenance.
Attention to detail and proficient problem-solving abilities.
