About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Safe Production System Stream Lead to implement productivity improvements to ensure sustainable value is created within an operation or product group.

The Improvement functional area includes roles that aim to improve productivity through: research and development, data analytics, development, deployment and support of new or proven technology, and strong change management.

Reporting to the Deployment Lead you will:

• Assists with developing and delivering the productivity improvement plan.• Coordinates multidisciplinary teams to deliver the plans.• Supports compliance with standardised processes, systems and tools.• Supports guidance for productivity improvement.• Monitors and reports on resource utilisation to identify opportunities for productivity improvement.• Assists with maintaining metrics and reporting standards and integrating outcomes into planning and development.• Provides technical support and direction to project stakeholders.

What you will bring

  • Strong communication / interpersonal / facilitation / coaching skills

  • Ability to work cohesively with and influence others

  • Demonstrated experience with using Lean Six Sigma and problem-solving techniques.

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in analysing and documenting complex business processes.

  • A range of experience in business analysis and process design.

  • Extensive experience leading process initiatives and improvement programs.

  • Applied change expertise with proven stakeholder engagement.

  • Degree in a business or mining related discipline will be an advantage.  

  • Project Management & Change Management experience is desired

  • 3+ years of operational experience in a similar role within the Mining or Manufacturing industry

  • Six Sigma Qualification (Black/Green Belt) & or Lean Methodology Experience is desired  

  • Experience working within both Operations and/or Maintenance

  • Attention to detail and proficient problem-solving abilities
