About the Role

The role can be based in Australia (Brisbane or Perth), Singapore, India or Philippines.

You will be accountable for creating and owning the product development and operational roadmap of Finance (ERP and non-ERP) applications with a focus on systems that manage BHP’s material risks and compliance requirements (predominantly SAP GRC Risk Management and Process Control). 

The Product Owner drives the success of the product and the value it delivers, and more specifically:  

  • Work closely with stakeholders from across the group to deliver the product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of Technology Enterprise & Global (E&G)
  • Own the Risk & Process Control products including all associated projects, architecture governance and operational support requirements 
  • Establish and maintain long term and annual roadmap and plan every 90 days and manage performance against product specific KPIs
  • Manage application lifecycle to keep the applications current and relevant for the business
  • Perform high level solution design for enhancements or changes, incorporating the new design into the existing Finance application architecture
  • Provide subject matter expertise to technology projects and DevOps teams to drive collaboration within the team to ensure effective execution of solution design on projects and other activities.
  • Engage with stakeholders in technology and business for technology trend analysis, problem management, business impact scoping and other testing / training requirements. 

About You

  • Outstanding experience in the design, configuration and implementation of Risk Management and Process Control applications, preferably SAP GRC or another Risk tool for Global companies.
  • Deep understanding of SAP Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC). Knowledge of S4 Hana is desirable.
  • Experience in integration between cloud products and non-ERP solutions with backend ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with industry best practices and implementing these to solve business problems.
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to manage and lead the team to identify blockers, articulate the root cause, push the solution and progress
  • Able to manage multiple priorities across capital projects, minor improvement works and operational stability
  • Effective team player, capable of engagement and influence across different stakeholders and the ability to manage conflicts and issues
  • Knowledge & practical experience in the area of Agile, DevOps methodologies and practices is an advantage
  • Relevant SAP application certification is desirable
  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related (STEM) discipline is preferred
