About the role:  We are currently seeking a SAP Plant Maintenance Business Lead to join our Brisbane office team. The purpose of the role is to be the Plant Maintenance SAP process owner within Peabody, supporting the asset management team to execute and deploy standardised maintenance system and training across the company. Training will focus on SAP Maintenance transactional steps coupled with the Peabody Way Maintenance Work Management process training.

Duties will include: 

  • Contribute to a sustainable safety culture.
  • Embedding the Peabody Way Maintenance Work Management process across all Peabody sites.
  • Support sites with SAP system key stroke training with on and off-site maintenance personnel.
  • Direct liaison with SAP business application teams for system upgrades and improvements of SAP.
  • Foster collaboration with other SAP groups namely Supply Chain and Finance.
  • Develop workflow reporting that aids sites in workflow management.
  • This role requires regular travel between mine sites and occasional travel to and from Australia/US.

About you: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Asset and Maintenance Management or Trade qualified.
  • Formal training with SAP and/or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Experience in a maintenance planning / reliability role in an open cut or underground coal mining environment.
  • Previous experience with CMMS systems such as SAP, proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable.
  • Experience in SAP Fiori and SAP S4 rollouts form a Plant Maintenance perspective.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of SAP workflow, maintenance strategy, budgeting processes and reporting.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to self-manage with strong results driven orientation.
