About the Role

The Contract Specialist will be based onsite at Saraji Mine within the Contracts Department. The role is responsible for the application of the Contractor Management Framework for contract partners engaged to perform work on site.   The Contract Specialist will be allocated a number of contract partners, and will be the exclusive advocate of CMF compliance for contracted services that fall within those assigned categories. The Contract Specialist is an appointed Supervisor on site.  

Key responsibilities include:

•    In accordance with the Contract Management Framework, advise internal stakeholders on suitable course of action with regards to sourcing, engagement, and performance management of contract partners. •    Facilitate Contract Owner nomination and formal appointment •    Support other Contract Owners in the execution of their duties as outlined in the Contractor Management Framework •    Monitor and report on SRM contracts compliance •    Identify continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, cost and productivity improvements for SRM  

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of 1-2 years, provide positive change and continue to support a high performing team. 

•    1-2 years experience in a Contracts Management role  •    Mining background is preferred  •    Ability to problem solve and identify gaps in compliance  •    Conduct interactions with contracts stakeholders  •    Able to excel in a KPI focused environment  •    Proven background in reporting and contracts compliance  •    Strong understanding in data and document management
