About the Role
Reporting to the Dragline Superintendent on a 3D/3N/6Off roster, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of a Dragline Crew and Dozer Push, including ensuring the safe execution of the mine plan in accordance with operating standards, procedures and defined processes to deliver optimal production outcomes. In this role your key responsibilities will include: • Manage a team of experienced and new to industry operators, encourage the development of the teams skills to support the delivery of superior production outcomes; • Apply a continuous improvement approach to identify and improve upon our operating philosophy and processes, ensure quality and efficiency in our operations; and • Lead by example, promote and take the lead supporting and encouraging a diverse team of operators to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment ensuring a safety first approach.
About You The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead positive change and support the continued development of a high performing team. The successful candidate will have an absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards, mine working procedures and ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace. As the successful candidate, you will possess the following: • Experience working in Leadership roles, with strong people management skills; and • Experience working in the Coal industry, specifically in Draglines and Bulk Dozer Push activities (any experience with autonomous dozer fleets would be advantageous)
