About the role
This is a permanent full-time role being offered on a 4:3 roster (Mon-Thu), FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
As the Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling structural remediation scopes from the long-term plan and routine inspection activities. Scopes are a combination of online and shutdown scopes. You’ll be the main liaison between the Structural remediation, Fixed plant, and Production teams, to determine the timing for execution of planned remediation work.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Own and maintain the multi-year structural remediation schedule and assure alignment with SAP and ArcGIS data
- Own and maintain current year Structural Remediation schedule (resourced)
- Provide relevant information for the integrated operational 12 Week look ahead
- Produce the weekly schedule for the Structural remediation team
- Collate and maintain the cost estimates for annual schedule
- Support the creation of maintenance shutdown schedules integrating all activities into one comprehensive schedule when required
- Perform in-field task reviews for critical activities to ensure actual work performed is aligned with the planned work and highlight if any changes are needed
About you
To be considered for the role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in relevant Engineering discipline or relevant trade qualification
- Prior scheduling experience within heavy industry, preferably mining
- Advanced on Microsoft Project and conversant on SAP
- Ability to understand and manipulate complex technical information and communicate to internal customers
- Very strong communication and consultative skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
