About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Divisional Secretary to join the inclusive and collaborative Resources Development team. Reporting to the General Manager - Resource Development you will provide administrative support for your leader and to the broader division and leadership team, including:

  • Seeking to find contious improvement opportuntites to simplify ways of working.
  • Supporting calendar management, including travel and logistic arrangements for th GM and division
  • Support managing credit card reconciliations
  • Meeting preparation,action taking and presentation support

The role also involves extensive stakeholder engagement with internal and external business partners.

What you will bring

  • Experience providing administrative support at an executive level
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to problem solve, prioritise, and multi-task.
  • Flexibility and resilience.
  • Advanced MS office skills including MS Outlook, Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications (ie SAP)
  • Previous experience in mining or resource development will be advantageous but not a pre-requisite
  • Certificate in business administration or similar whilst not essential, will be well-regarded

This role is based at Rio Tinto’s Perth head office at the Central Park building in the Perth CBD.
