  • Play a critical role in shaping end-user learning for one of Rio Tinto’s largest SAP S/4HANA transformations

  • Own the quality, governance and delivery of digital learning materials at scale

  • Work at the intersection of SAP Enable Now, WalkMe and global transformation delivery

About this role

We are looking for a Senior Adviser, Digital Learning & Enablement to lead the end-to-end delivery and quality assurance of digital learning materials across the Modern ERP program.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on project managing material development with our System Integrator partners - ensuring all content is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You will act as the gatekeeper of learning quality, overseeing offshore delivery teams and ensuring materials are aligned to program standards, user needs and global deployment timelines.

Working closely with learning, change and technical teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our global workforce is equipped with the right tools, guidance and digital support to successfully adopt SAP S/4HANA.

What you’ll be doing

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital learning materials across the SAP S/4HANA program

  • Partnering with our SI to ensure outputs are delivered to quality, time and budget

  • Act as the quality gatekeeper, reviewing materials within SAP Enable Now and ensuring adherence to standards and templates

  • Manage delivery of content from offshore teams, ensuring consistency, completeness and alignment to expectations

  • Partner with technical and learning teams to ensure effective deployment and use of WalkMe across the program

  • Coordinate translation readiness and timelines across multiple languages and regions to avoid delivery delays and cost impacts

  • Track and report on progress, risks and quality issues, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution

  • Build strong relationships across stakeholders to ensure materials are fit-for-purpose, user-friendly and support successful adoption

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in project managing digital learning or training delivery within a large transformation program

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Enable Now and WalkMe (implementation and application, not just exposure)

  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or ERP transformation environments

  • Experience managing System Integrators and offshore delivery teams in a complex, global program

  • Strong quality assurance mindset, with the ability to review and uplift large volumes of learning materials

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across technical, learning, and business teams

  • Strong planning and coordination capability, including managing dependencies such as translation and deployment timelines

  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, bringing structure, discipline and consistency to delivery

What We Offer

  • Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work

  • A work environment where safety is always the number one priority

  • Competitive base salary with annual incentive program

  • Comprehensive medical benefits including subsidised private health insurance

  • Attractive share ownership plan

  • Career development & education assistance

  • Flexible working arrangements

  • Be part of Rio Tinto’s global Modern ERP transformation, contributing directly to one of the organisation’s most significant multi‑year programs

  • Ongoing access to family-friendly health and medical wellbeing support

  • Exclusive employee discounts (banking, accommodation, cars, retail and more

Where You’ll Be Working

You’ll join the Modern ERP Program — a multi‑disciplinary team bringing together technology, process, data and change specialists to reshape how work happens across Rio Tinto. We’re modernising a 20‑year‑old ERP system and redesigning core business processes to improve safety, efficiency and ignite innovation.

This work supports our people across global operations to spend less time on transactional tasks and more time on work that really matters. By simplifying and digitising how the organisation runs, the Modern ERP Program is creating the foundation for future productivity gains, smarter decision‑making and AI‑enabled transformation.
