Key aspects of this role:
- Capital performance reporting and insights on overall investment portfolio
- Govern the single source of truth for capital portfolio management, including working with stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting to support timely decisions at portfolio level
- Provide an independent lens of capital efficiency, portfolio intensity, challenge assumptions and governance
As a critical member of the Finance team, you will be central to supporting effective portfolio management:
- Planning: Coordinate with Business Analysis, Sustaining Capital, Project Delivery Groups to run capital planning processes including portfolio prioritisation, annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes
- Reimagine the governance process: People, process and systems to ensure transparency in what we’re spending, and how effective that investment is at portfolio level
- Engagement and collaboration: Work closely with Divisional teams to review and prioritise inputs impacting overall capital portfolio
- Benchmarking: Own and develop driver-based models to benchmark capital investment across the portfolio to support all planning horizons (connection between long-term plans and execution windows)
- Prioritisation: Develop project prioritisation and decision-making tools to improve portfolio maturity
- Effectiveness and Efficiency: Identify and implement initiatives and capital metrics to drive improvement in capital efficiency and productivity
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commercial, Engineering or similar backgrounds
- Strong operational and/or financial background with ability to work through complex issues
- Courage to challenge the status quo with clear, data backed, reasoning
- Project management or Financial Management experience across varying work fronts and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working in a planning, governance, business services, strategy, investment evaluation, business development or portfolio management role
- A passion for continuous improvement, personal development and a continuous improvement mindset

Where you’ll be working
This role is based in Perth, at our head office in Central Park, and working Monday to Friday. We want you to have a great work/life balance, so the days, hours, location of work are flexible (including working from home). You may be required to travel to the Pilbara to support our customers on an as required basis.
