Job Responsibilities
Macmahon is currently seeking experienced Senior HSEQ Advisor to join the Macmahon Tropicana team. These positions will be on a permanent 8:6 roster FIFO Perth.
About You
- Experience in HSEQ related roles within mining industry
- Diploma of WHS or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership skills and competency
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in remote locations
- Knowledge and experience in utilising HSEQT systems including INX, Chemwatch and MDL
- Ability to adapt to different projects /different clients requirements
- Knowledge and application of WA mining legislation
- Valid Drivers Licence
About the Role
- Conduct and facilitate risk assessments with the respective departments
- Attend and contribute at safety meetings while on site
- Knowledge of HSEQ systems (i.e. Incontrol, Chris21, MDL, Chemwatch etc.)
- Advise and assist sites with ensuring compliance with the Management System procedures for Document Control and Control of Management System Records.
- Advise and assist sites with the coordination of the workplace inspection and audit system.
- Advise and assist sites in the implementation of the Macmahon HSEQ Management System standards.
- Advise and assist implementation and facilitation of Safety Interaction programs and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Programs
- Ability to promote continuous improvement approach to HSEQ
